Hey Darling
Here’s a simple practice I’ve been leaning into lately
especially when self-doubt creeps in
when I question if I can hold what’s next
when I forget just how much I’ve already survived
I call it:
The Bravery Bank
It’s not a fancy ritual
Just a quiet remembering
You open a blank note
or a fresh journal page
and start depositing moments
Moments where you chose courage
even when your voice was shaking
even when the easiest thing would’ve been to run
Big things
like launching the offer
leaving the relationship
moving to a new city
speaking your truth
And quiet things
like resting instead of pushing
walking away from something that almost fit
honouring a gut feeling when no one else saw it
Every moment is a deposit
Every entry is a receipt
Evidence of your self-trust
Proof that you’ve been here before
and you didn’t abandon yourself then
So you won’t now
We forget so easily
how strong we are
how far we’ve come
how many chapters we’ve closed
just to be here — in this one
So when your mind is spinning
when the fear is loud
when it all feels too much
Go to your Bravery Bank
Read it
Add to it
Let it ground you
Because courage isn’t something you find
It’s something you remember
What’s a moment you once thought you wouldn’t survive — but did?
What part of you is braver than you’ve ever given her credit for?
Write it down
Speak it out
Deposit it
Let it grow
Your Bravery Bank is always open
And you’re richer than you think
With love
