The Day I Chose Me

Self-love isn't selfish

There was a moment last year.
It didn’t look dramatic.
No big announcement.
No fireworks.

Just a quiet, clear intrinsic "No."
To what no longer felt like me.

In that moment, I decided that even though the next steps were going to be painful, messy and unpredictable, I knew I was choosing myself.

Not because I knew exactly where it would lead.
But because I finally trusted the whisper in my body more than the noise in the room.

Choosing yourself isn’t about exclusion.
It’s not “me over them.”
It’s “me with me.”

That kind of devotion rewires everything.
It’s the beginning of real freedom.

OFH isn’t about being liked.
It’s about being aligned.
And alignment starts the moment you stop abandoning yourself to keep the peace.

OFH invitation:

What decision would shift everything if you put yourself FIRST.

Be selfish.

It's actually the most selfless thing you can do.
