Delusional Audacity Changed My Life

WTF is that? Let me explain...

There’s a kind of boldness that doesn’t come from strategy.
It comes from not knowing any better.
From saying yes before you’re ready.
From walking into the room like you own it even when your nervous system is screaming, “you shouldn’t be here.”

I call it delusional audacity.

And it’s the only reason I’m here.

Let me take you back…

30 days after I started posting about my (then brand new) marketing agency on LinkedIn, I got a message from a major global brand.

They wanted to speak to me about *potentially managing their social media. (OMG WTF)

After the call with the CEO (also omg wtf)

They wanted to hand over a massive influencer campaign.

100+ creators
Paid media
Shipping hundreds of products
Legal approvals
Verified TikTok accounts
Cash upfront

Did I know how to run something like that?

Absolutely f*cking not.

But I said yes anyway.

Because if I’d stopped to think…
If I’d let logic get louder than instinct…
If I’d let self-doubt have the mic

I would’ve backed the f*ck out.

And that would’ve been the death of the business I have now.

What I had wasn’t confidence.
It was naivety.
It was delusion.
It was a refusal to let fear lead.

And you know what?

That campaign worked better than anything they had every launched before.

We hit every milestone.
We pulled miracles out of thin air.
We got sh*t done that made no sense on paper.

Not because we were “ready.”
But because there was no other option.

I found the legal help.
I found the TikTok contacts.
I found the grit.
I figured it all out on the way.

Would I do it again?

Yes.

But now I know how hard it was.

And that’s the thing

Knowledge can sometimes kill courage.
Delusion can be divine.
Naivety can be your gateway to greatness.

Sometimes not knowing is the only way you go.

So if you’re sitting on an idea…
If there’s a room you want to walk into, a pitch you want to send, a leap you’re scared to take..

Ask yourself:

What would I do today if I didn’t know better?

Do that.
Say yes.
Shoot your f*cking shot.

Because self-trust doesn’t come from being ready.
It comes from moving forward regardless.

OFH is built on moments like this.
Messy. Audacious. Unreasonable.

Magic.

Let it all work out.
