Hi love
I talk about intuition a lot
Because it’s not a trend or a buzzword to me
It’s a way of moving through the world
A way of remembering myself
Here’s something I found recently that blew my mind
The Latin root of the word intuition is intueri
which means to look at, to consider, to know from within
Let that land for a second
To know from within
Not from the spreadsheet
Not from the plan
Not from the voices around you telling you what makes sense
From within
And that’s the wild thing about intuition
It’s so deeply felt, but so hard to explain
I’ve always been pretty in tune with mine
I can walk into a room and feel if it’s meant for me
I’ll step into a coffee shop and instantly know if I can write there
I’ll meet someone and just know — this is my person
or
this isn’t the energy I want to bring into my life
But even with that inner compass
there are still moments where my mind tries to override the knowing
It tells stories
Spins scenarios
Tries to keep me safe by convincing me out of what I already feel
And every single time I’ve gone against my intuition
it’s taken me off course
Every time
What’s helped me come back?
The unsexy but powerful rituals
Daily meditation
Journaling
Reflection
Simple things
that most people ignore
because they don’t feel urgent
But they are essential
I’ve found a rhythm that holds me
I wake up and press play on a meditation before my mind has a chance to run the show
It drops me into my body
into my breath
into the truth
I love Sarah Blondin’s meditations
Her voice, her energy, her presence
Look her up on Insight Timer
She’s magic
So here’s your gentle nudge for today:
What would shift if you trusted your inner knowing more than your old stories?
What could open up
if you chose your body’s truth
before your brain’s logic?
Come home to your knowing
It’s already there
waiting to be heard
With love
M x
