Before The World Gets in... Check in With You

Your soul speaks the loudest when you’re the quietest.

How many times have you heard it
that little voice inside?
The one that whispers something feels off
or this is the way
or breathe, babe… just breathe.

The voice that knows
before your brain kicks in.
Before your calendar tells you who to be.
Before the scroll steals your clarity.

But here’s the thing most women miss:

That voice doesn’t shout.
It doesn’t perform.
It doesn’t beg for your attention.

It waits for you to get quiet enough to hear it.

And lately?
I’ve realised my clearest, most honest truths come through in the first few minutes after I wake.

Before I check in with the world
I check in with me.

I sit.
I breathe.
I listen.

Because it’s in that soft, sacred space
before the ego fully wakes up,
before the mental noise floods in
that I get to ask myself the most important question I know:

What’s true for me right now?

No expectations.
No pressure.
Just presence.

Meditation, even for five minutes, has become my daily anchor.
Not to do anything.
But to be with what’s already there.

And here’s what I want to offer you today:

Carve out space in your diary just for you.
Not for the plan.
Not for the to-dos.
Not even for the healing.

Just to listen.
To check in before you check out.
To choose yourself before the world starts choosing for you.

Because if you don’t carve out the quiet…
that voice?
It gets loud.
It starts showing up as burnout.
As resentment.
As misalignment you can’t ignore.

So don’t wait for the breakdown to find the breakthrough.

Listen now.

Hold space now.

You don’t need more answers.
You need more silence.

🌙 Here is my challenge for you:

Try it tomorrow. Before you touch your phone. Before you let the world in. Just sit with you. That’s where your clarity lives.

Just ask yourself this simple question ‘What is true for me now’?

Close your eyes, and just breathe into it.

Can you promise me you will?
